A Quick Overview

Well I finally did it. After a year and a half I finally did it. So without further ado I welcome you to my world. You might want to hold on tight because the ride can get pretty rough at times :) I am the proud "maather" of 10 Nubian goats, 2 kitties, and 2 Guernsey heifer calves. My best friend calls me "the crazy goat lady" and I am slightly, well OK, full-fledged work-a-holic. I work full time as a seamstress, part time cleaning houses and try to fit in all my farm chores in the evenings and on the weekends. I'm currently trying to persuade my parents to let me get a farm dog, chickens, pigs, and some more cows and goats but I keep getting the same answer: "When you get your own place you can get all the animals you want." Therefore I am seeking a small domicile with a barn and pasture preferably close to my current work situation. There seems to be this unwritten rule, "If you have time you have no money, and if you have no money you have no time." There. Now it is written :)

  1. I have enjoyed all of your posts and have subscribed by email. I also have seen that you have moved. I hope not to far away. I don't want my Amy too sad, not seeing her friend. I enjoy hearing " the Spaid girl" stories too.
