Sylvia

I've been trying to come up with a name for this cute little bundle of claws and teeth. The other day I just randomly called her Sylvia and it stuck. Now the hard part, getting Ruger to be nice to her.

Pearl...

...Is one likely calf, just passing her 7th month. She belongs to miss Morgan Qualls and they both did an excellent job showing the other evening. 2nd in showmanship and 7th in her class. Bravo Morgan we love you and I am partial to pearl. :)

My "twin" and his better half.

I do not believe I have properly introduced my brother John and his fiancĂ©, Kasie, to my blog. Some of you all know them personally, but for those of you who don't...

Growing up John and I were very close to the same size (even now he isn't too much taller.) and similar in features.  This generated questions from people we would meet and mom would joke that we were almost twins. Best buddies, worst enemies and partners in crime, we were never far apart. I learned the rudiments of carpentry, plumbing and hunting by his side. He in turn was forced to play dolls, run a sewing machine, and he knows enough about cooking to survive. :)

One day I noticed a pretty, new waitress at our local restaurant. I went home and asked John if he knew who she was and the next thing I know he brought her home to meet us!

Long story short, she helped him get his ducks straightened out and back in a row. Although the wedding is almost a year from now, any family time is not complete with out her. Not only does she balance John, she softens the sharp edges of our entire family. Love you two!

Rambunctious Ruger

Play time in constant motion. He never let's me be bored. On the other hand he gets bored with me a bazillion times a day. Every time I give him a bath he finds the closest mud to play in, as if making a rebellious statement. I let him out of his kennel and he jumps around the kitchen in drunken circles snapping at the flies. One of these days he is going to break something in this tiny house. Hopefully not me. Lol.

The fearful porch dwellers.

Meet Scaredy-cat and 'Fraidy-cat. Not sure which name belongs to which one. I think the tortoise shell tabby striped one is a male. I haven't been able to grab him for a closer look. The gray and white is a tad smaller and I'm thinking its a female. I've held it a few times. If it is a female it will go to live with Summer at Joshua's house.
