Here's to the girls...

...that aren't afraid to sweat (not perspire) or get their hands dirty. The ones who will work all day alongside the guys pulling their fair share of the load. The ones who aren't afraid that they could break a nail. The ones who will clean up for a party then switch right to barn boots because the cows got out. They are the ones who fix fence, drive tractors, mow the lawn, throw hay bales, grow gardens, change oil, milk cows, run a chainsaw, own trucks, haul feed, muck barns, and pull calves then cry because God is good. You can always count on them to be a real friend, lend a helping hand, pull you out when your stuck, jump start your dead battery, give you their honest opinion and tell you the truth, and make anytime a good time. Sometimes they don't have the answer, don't know what to do, don't sing on key, don't get to church on time, don't always say the right thing, and don't heed well intended advice. These girls will always, be there when you need a listening ear or a tight hug, give you their shoulder to cry on then wipe away your tears, protect the underdog and the innocent, give generously, hold a good man's respect, love God wholeheartedly, and always try to dance in the rain. These girls are the ones who look like they have it all together but sometimes need, reassured, a hug, a box of tissues and a box of chocolates, someone to be their friend, a helping hand, quietness, rainbows, encouragement, to be told that they are beautiful, a promise, a new song, a hand to hold, and a reminder. A reminder that they are priceless. God bless girls like this.
