Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow.

God grant me the humility to ask for help, the strength to do it myself, and the wisdom to know the difference.

Pain is just weakness leaving your body.

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

When the waves are taking you under hold on just a little bit longer, this is gonna make you stronger.

Long days, short nights, sickness, pain, sorrow, stress, tears, hardship. How you respond to it is what makes you the person you are. You can hide under the umbrella or you can dance in the rain. The choice is yours.

I was raised believing that "can't" never did anything.

It's your life, what are you going to do? The world is watching you, every day the choices you make say what you are and who your heart beats for.

Tears don't mean you are weak. Strong people cry then they wipe the tears away and get back up and go on.

Dance like no one is watching.
Dance like there is no tomorrow.
 Dance for those who can't.
 Dance for those who won't.
Dance for life and for yourself.
Just dance.

Young ladies, this is so true. Be true to you. God made you not a clone of the girl you are standing beside. You are a unique original masterpiece. Don't Mar his handiwork with frivolous aspects and attitudes. A real man won't ask  or expect you to be anyone but yourself. And that girl who is herself will be truly treasured by a real man.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen.

Little by little, step by step.

This is one of my favorite songs. I often find my self here on my knees then he reaches out and helps me stand. Sometimes just strengthening me. Sometimes a kind word or a hug from a friend. Sometimes the criticism of those who dislike me. But I always know he will be there.
He is my strength.

  1. Thank you Beka. I should know all those things but sometimes I just need to here it (or read it) again. Especially coming from a friend.

    1. Welcome aboard.:) Sometimes I find that I have to encourage myself in the Lord as David did. Usually once I get started I feel a lot better.
