Ok. I have a confession to make. The real reason I love to cook with my cast iron is...not because it is so durable...not because it heats so evenly...not because I grew up cooking with it (and there are certain things I can't cook unless I use cast iron.)...it is because you only have to clean it once in a blue moon and everyone who knows me well, knows I'm not exceptionally diligent in the doing-the-dishes department. Lol gotta love it couldn't do without it.
